Best of both worlds...

I've been blessed to love two very beautiful worlds. Having a huge love for photography and design, creating breath taking moments, for myself and other to cherish for years to come, is complimented by a burning passion for horses....

I was drawn to horses at a very young age, begging my parents to let me ride, to feed the horses next door apples from the side of the road, playing with toy horses. I guess you could say I was mesmerized by them.
Twenty-seven years later here I am, still mesmerized by everything about them. I'm lucky enough that these two passions of mine are able to coexist in such a complimentary way! Horses have always been my favourite subject to photograph. I'm lucky enough to have four of my own, who I'll introduce to you all because let's be real, you're going to see and hear lots about them threw out this journey, threw photographs and stories on my blogs. They are a huge part of my life!

Dee Time
This is the king himself, the man who started it all. World I'm proud to introduce you to Dee Time or known to me as Memphis. This is my original, he's been with me for 11 out of his 12 years of life. From my little colt to my magnificent stallion, yes he's still a stallion. He's been my most photographed horse. He was the first images I captured on the Canon rebel my mom bought me for Christmas when I was 16.

Crowns Lady Rain
I call her Rain. This beautiful 16 year old mare has been with me for 3 years now. She's a professional mother, and a great one at that.
Her job is simply to raise Memphis' foals and live the mom life.
Hustler
So without further ado, I'm very proud to introduce you to Hustler. The youngest of my little herd at 8 months old, he is Memphis and Rain's son. I've been waiting for ten years to find the perfect mare to breed Memphis too and when I met Rain I knew it was meant to be. He's perfect in everyday and you'l all get to watch him grow and learn with me as he will be my next forever horse as his dad gets to enjoy the life of a stallion.

Moose
If you look at the top of this blog there is a big beautiful black warmblood gelding. You guessed it, that's my Moose. Standing 17.2 weighing in at round 1700lbs he fits the name well. Moose is a project horse I bought back in the spring who I was intending on flipping fast. He stole my heart though and he we are almost a year later and he is still with me, I'm not sure for how long but for now he is my main riding horse and the boy who gets most of my attention as he's young at only 5 and still has lots to learn! I absolute love watching him take on this world and learn new things everyday! You guys can look forward to more photos and update on this big guy as well!
These are my beautiful inspirations and the horses who help keep me motivated to be a better person everyday. They keep my heart safe and always keep that flame flickering in my soul. I wouldn't be me without them and I'm very excited to share my love for the equine world with every single one of you. Maybe even inspire a person or two to chase their dream or not give up on the ones they have been letting sit on the back burner for what has probably been much to long.
